Hi,
there is no support for caldav in schooltool (yet), but i'm playing
around Apple Calendar Server, trying to integrate its features in Zope3.

If someone is interested, we should try to setup a dev team.

regards,

Hi all,

I am the author of z3c.dav (webdav implementation for Zope3). When writing
this of my goals was (and still is) to provide support for other WebDAV
protocols including CalDAV.

If people are interested in added this support directly to Zope as an add-on
then I am definitely interested in helping in any ways I can to help improve
z3c.dav and to add the features necessary to implement CalDAV for schooltool
and other Zope related projects.

Good! I'm definitely interested.

What's the correct place where discuss about this topic?

best regards,

I don't know. I don't have a deciated mailing list for this. The resources for
the webdav project are a launchpad page at https://launchpad.net/z3c.dav, and
a subversion repository at http://svn.zope.org/z3c.dav/trunk/ .

My interest in this would be to extend the capabilities and robustness of the
core webdav packages that I have writen. If schooltool is interested in
caldav then I would love to help schooltool implement caldav and then to
release all the protocol related code seperately so that I and others can use
it in other projects too.

I have tought about mentioning this to the schooltool people long before (as
they have a great calendar application already) but getting time to work on
this is not easy as it is my spare time.

Hi

Collaborative draft of a CalDAV Plone Improvement Proposal (PLIP)
and *any related discussions* are most welcome at
<http://plone3.freeman-centre.ac.uk/caldav>.

The site is OpenID enabled, with (Plone 3) community workflow and
very relaxed privileges for logged-in users. I'll maintain this
relaxation for as long as is practical.

If you wish to bring yourselves up-to-date,
<http://plone3.freeman-centre.ac.uk/caldav/d/caldav-plip> is a
reasonable starting point. From my notes there you'll see that

* some things are in wish list format at the moment

* whilst there was initial focus on a PLIP, there is _not_ an over-
focus on the Plone core.

I'm delighted to see Zope + CalDAV interest on this list, and I do
hope that whatever arises will be beneficial for all developer/user
groups, including SchoolTool.

I can't attempt to keep the various interested individuals/groups in
touch with each other via e-mail, so I do encourage use of the
community site.

Thanks and best regards

I would like to add it, but I can't say it is a priority.
