This past weekend Alan Elkner, Filip Sufitchi and Chris Carey met at
the Science Leadership Academy in Philadelphia during this year's
EduCon conference for a coding sprint focused on improving
schooltool's gradebook. The two areas of improvement included general
appearance and navigation.

Chris worked on getting the layout and style choices to be consistent
between schooltool.gradebook, schooltool.lyceum.journal and cando.
Cando's style choices were used as the model as they were considered
to be the best set of colors and layout of rows.

Meanwhile, Alan ad Filip worked on overhauling the way the user
navigates between worksheets, activities and the gradebook itself.
The gradebook will now work more like a teacher would expect it to,
allowing the gradebook to be the point from which new activities are
added. The old way was confusing to some users and required the user
to click around far more than what was convenient.

In all it was a successful couple of days.
